Hello. My name is Gavin Arian Akhbari. Becoming a 2nd degree Black Belt is going to be so exciting. Karate is a fun place. It helps you become stronger and be better at sports. Every time I go there I learn a lot. My favorite class is Leadership class. Everyone at Karate works very hard to train everybody else. When I came here, I learned Respect, Communication and all the rest of the life skills. They help me learn my form and my weapons form. My favorite thing is board breaking. It is very fun to do it. I like Ground Fighting, too. That is very fun, too. I hope one day I can get my fifth degree Black Belt. Today, I will get my 2nd degree.

About Dr. Greg Moody: Greg is a seventh degree black belt and senior master instructor. He has a Ph.D. in Special Education from Arizona State University (along with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – he actually is a rocket scientist). He has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years and has owned eight martial arts schools in Arizona and California. Sr. Master Moody is a motivational speaker and educator and teaches seminars in bullying, business, and martial arts training, around the world.
