A note on our top instructor Chief Master Nominee (CMN) Eric Thomas…
He’s recently been awarded the rank of 8th Degree Black Belt…
Now, more than 2 decades later, he’s been a key to well over 15,000+ students and 1,700+ Black Belts at KarateBuilt Martial Arts. Even though his time is limited, he probably got a chance to teach each one of the Black Belts at some point! Not just because he’s such a great instructor but also has always partnered with me (even before Master Sanborn and the rest of the team were part of the team) in developing our curriculum and instructional program. Every one of the students and Black Belts owes him for their results and success.
Personally, he’s always inspired me to reach beyond the standard organizational curriculum and methods to keep improving and make our classes and how we train instructors better (we just spent an hour last Tuesday talking about the next things coming up!). I know the rest of our instructors now and over the years would agree that none of what has been accomplished would have been nearly as good without him!
He’s a great martial arts student, an incredible instructor and an amazing friend!
