Confidence Building in the Summer – Part 3
Everything we are talking about is about not wasting the summer… Take advantage of everything the KarateBuilt students are doing (or at least do something that gains you skill) during this critical time…
CONFIDENCE is This Summer Topic!
And if you don’t think you or your child can gain by building confidence I challenge you a bit – look at research on confidence and business success. In every case confident people are more successful, happier and have better financial results. There is always more room to grow…
You should have learned the first 2 steps towards confidence building (and therefore better grades) in the last posts…
The next part is building mental skills and capability. When you have mental capability you feel more confident because you can process more… you can focus better… and stay on one task better. You simply are more able to handle things… that’s why Black Belts have more confidence – by far – that the average person.
As far as better grades go it should be obvious that with incredible focus and mental capability a students grades will skyrocket!
As far as us adults do – the same skills lead to massively improved performance at work!
You probably have heard about Martial Arts developing incredible – almost spooky – mental discipline… and you’d be pretty close to correct if you understand the science…
Let’s look at a really bad example of mental focus… a new version of Maslow’s Hierarchy I showed you last time….
I call this the teenager hierarchy! Ok that was supposed to be a joke, but the unfortunate truth is that when you see a
group of teens nowadays, they’re often focusing on where they get WiFi or where they are going to charge their devices rather than the meeting or topic at hand…
Like safety skills and physical capabilities, Karate at KarateBuilt Martial Arts builds a high level of incredible mental focus and capability so you (or your child) basically are capable of anything you set your mind to (setting your mind to things is another topic).
It doesn’t matter what kind of job or work you’re in, mental capability determines success.
There’s one last step to confidence… next time!
MORE Results…..in their own words!
