Karate Means Respect… Cool… and MORE Cool…

Another Karate BLACK BELT STORY from Mr. Scott Bennett – this was fun…

Karate means several things to me.  One of these things is respect.  Karate has really helped me with my respect outside of karate class.  It also helps me with some other life-skills: self-esteem, honesty, vision, discipline, and communication.  Self-esteem helps me so I’m confident and can break boards, honesty and discipline help me try my hardest, vision helps me make goals, and communication helps me with my listening and stuff.  These are really important to me because I need to use them every day.

Karate is also cool because it makes me kick butt.  It also helps me get better at techniques so I don’t have to be really strong to do certain things, but I like getting buff anyways.  I also really like tournaments and competing.

Karate is really cool and I’m going to keep doing it and getting better at everything.  The life skills are all important and it helps me get buff and learn techniques.  Karate means a lot to me and hopefully I can keep getting stronger.

Thanks Mr. Bennett!

Sincerely,

Karate
