Karate for Life…

Sometimes young kids say the most meaningful things. Mr. Shubham Nipanikar (10 at the time) explained how Karate will stay with him his whole life!

Karate has meant a lot to me.  I have learned many things by going to karate classes.

Important things that I have learned, is that you have to be strong, confident, have self-control, respect, honesty and discipline.  These are the traits you carry with you throughout your life.  Karate classes helped me to be more loud and clear.  I have also learned how to defend myself in a life threatening situations.

My karate instructors have inspired me to become a black belt leader.  They have been very good role models for me; they demonstrate the techniques of Taekwondo strongly and loudly.

Karate is more than doing a bunch of punches and kicks.  It’s about learning how to be a leader and how to have confidence in yourself.

Once you are in Karate, you are there for life.

I particularly appreciate how he’s describing that being in martial arts is about being a leader, about building confidence and that the instructors are role models. That’s what we are in this profession for!!

Sincerely,

Karate
